French Style Aluminum Pipe Shutters

French style pipe shutters are sometimes used over shops – a single-phase tubular motor typically powers these. However, as most of this style of shutter is used in mall areas.

Visibility Shutters

Some environments call for shutters that combine a high level of security with transparency. Our transparent shutters are used in a wide range of situations including retail premises, banks, museums, exhibitions and galleries, where public access is unrestricted, and high value items must be protected.

Made of horizontal strips of virtually unbreakable polycarbonate, these extremely robust shutters give crystal clear visibility when closed, providing transparency of 83%, and allowing through 92% of daylight. Because it is UV-stabilised, the shutter will not discolour or yellow, and will retain its exceptional clarity for many years.

Because they present a more aesthetically pleasing effect than a completely solid shutter, and because they allow through light to help light an area after dark, this type of solution is popular in town centre conservation areas.

Aluminum Shutters

Our aluminium roller shutter doors are very popular amongst our customers and are normally used in commercial or residential situations due to their aesthetically pleasing nature. Strong, reliable, and delivering a lightweight protection solution, they are available to fit most apertures, and can be supplied in a finish to suit your needs.

This product is available as a bespoke shutter to fit your building, or can be offered as a built in solution for new build properties. Typically supplied as a solid curtain, we can also offer the option of a punched or perforated shutters.

Like most of our shutters, the aluminium shutters can be operated using a single or three-phase motor or can also be supplied in a manual option (depending on size and usage). Being of aluminium construction, these roller shutters are much lighter than their steel counterparts.

Steel Rolling Shutters

Shahab Doors is able to offer a wide range of steel shutters to help prevent unauthorised access and vandalism. The shutters are available in a solid finish, perforated finish or punched finish. The latter two help to enable airflow and visibility into the premises making them ideal for car parks or commercial shops.

Swinging & Sliding Gates

Traditionally, swing gates have been more popular on both residential and commercial properties; however, of late, sliding gates are gaining much popularity. One of the main differences between the two is that sliding gates involve the installation of wheels, and these allow the gate to either be pushed manually or with motorised help along a floor track.

Swinging Gates

Swinging gates don’t have wheels, instead, these ‘swing’ open and closed. Fortunately, today, there are multiple automatic designs available under both the sliding gate and swinging gate categories.

Sliding Gates

Sliding gates need much lesser space to operate. This benefit is crucial, especially if something is blocking the area around your gate, such as trees, rocks and other landscaping limitations. Why is that? Because sliding gates ‘slide’ open along a floor track, and do not ‘swing’ open like swinging gates. A swinging gate requires unobstructed room to open and close, this makes sliding gates an ideal choice for in-town living, or in areas that have limited space.

Barrier Gates

A road barrier is the most functional and at the same time attractive solution for controlling public and private vehicle transit and access to rest areas, even with high traffic volumes.
